Concert for Water!



CITIZENS FOR WATER / A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT
The Citizens for Water Foundation was formed in response to the accelerating development
of extreme methods of gas extraction throughout the U.S. and in the northeast, with New York
State being the current target. CWF is engaged in undertaking initiatives to alert and educate
the public about the dangerous and adverse impacts that fossil-fuel extraction pose to our
precious water resources, including threats to public health, to local economic and agricultural
development, and to our common natural resources. The hidden costs of fossil fuel extraction
include the degradation of our environment, public health, civil rights, and democracy:
 
 
CONCERT FOR WATER / CARNEGIE HALL - NOVEMBER 1
The Concert for Water in the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall is a celebration
of life’s most precious resource: Water. New York has the "best tasting" water in the world and
it is now under attack by a massive campaign to frack for gas. Tickets go on sale beginning
